Chapter 7
You may wonder, where is the Seventh Seal? This has not been opened yet. While we wait, other events take place before this seal is opened.
Event 7
John then saw 4 angels, standing at 4 corners of the earth, to prevent 4 winds from blowing on land, sea or any tree.
2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. Each tribe represented 12,000 sealed!

Event 8 – Another Worship Scene
The Great Multitude in White Robes
9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…
Does this seem impossible to you, that some from every nation, tribe, people and language will stand before His throne someday? The Jews from every one of these tribes of Israel(Jacob) are scattered throughout the earth. They started their own nations, tribes, people and language.
… “They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
They Cried In A Loud Voice
“Salvation belongs to our God,
Revelation 7:10, NIV
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:

and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.

13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”
14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore, they came out of the Great Tribulation clean!
It is amazing to me that going through the Tribulation, people will come out believing that the Lamb of God is their Savior. The one who sacrificed His life for them. Now they are clean because the blood of the Lamb has cleaned them and have white robes!
They Came Out Of The Great Tribulation Clean
“they are before the throne of God
Revelation 7:15-17
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]”
The Lamb Will Be Our Shepherd
I can’t move ahead until I write about verse 17. “The Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them and bring them to springs of living water: (refreshing, living water! No more of the painful, yucky stuff that we deal with day to day now!) And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes!
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” This is repeated later in the Book of Revelation. Can you imagine having no more pain, especially emotional pain. We go through many tough times, don’t we? People and our circumstances really hurt! Our tears start flowing, but someday, God Himself will wipe every tear from our eyes. That sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? I’m sure looking forward to this. Are you? I believe that the Lord allows difficult situations into our lives to give us a desire for Him even more! We can love our family, friends, fun times here on earth, but nothing will compare to the joy that we will experience in heaven someday. Jesus had joy set before Him according to to Hebrews 12:1-2.
Because Of The Joy Set Before Him…
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.“
Hebrews 12:1-2
Take away(Throw off) everything that distracts us and our sin which keeps us from living for Him, and worshiping Him. Run the race of life, that He planned out for us and persevere! Don’t give up but instead, now, let us “fix our eyes on Jesus, as He even had joy set before Him, so He endured such pain and shame and now” He now sits at the right hand of the throne of God.” Someday, we will be around His throne also, if we believe Him and have a real relationship with Him.
Event 9
Chapter 8

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about a half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

The Trumpets
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets, prepared to sound them.
The Seven Trumpets Described In Detail

Angels Announce Their Trumpets
7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
Sun, Moon And Stars Affected
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.
13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”
These last three trumpet blasts by three angels will be discovered later.
I Care, Do You? Think And Plan Ahead
What do you think of these specific events of the future that you read about today? Do they sound like something that will really happen? Have you spent time thinking about the end of your life and then the end times? These details sound quite scary! Just since Covid began two years ago, so many people have no idea what to believe. Many are afraid! Because we are afraid, we also don’t know who to believe. I think that Covid actually gave people an opportunity to sit back, think, spend time with some of our family and be still! There was little that we could do! It feels often like we have a hard time trusting many people, especially in our government and the world in general.
I Had No Idea
I think many of us who have just contracted Covid, really wonder what we are up against. Is this really going to be hard? Am I going to end up in the hospital? Or is this basically just like something we went through years ago like a flu and/or cold? It was tough to know. The doctor diagnosed me with Covid on January 1st this year. I prayed, waited and rested. Friends helped get us something at the store, for which I am so grateful! Then a few days later, my husband had Covid His first day however, his temperature went high. He has more trouble breathing than I do and he has trouble with clots also.
Should I Fear?
What would I do? Should I fear? Honestly, I prayed! We rested and did all that we knew to do. We left it in the Lord’s hands. Then another friend contracted Covid as well as well as our daughter. I did all that I knew to do and encourage her to do. God is good! Many of us came through this virus with little difficulty. We weren’t comfortable but we got through it!
Consider What Is Happening
I wonder though, when crazier things happen in the world, will you consider what is happening? Are these events something that you care about? I think just by watching people in our culture, that no one is going to be happy about some of these events of the end times. These awful circumstances will scare people. If you don’t want to be in or see a terrible situation happen, I’m sure that you will not want to see those close to you like family and friends, go through these very difficult circumstances.
The Best Thing You Can Do
The best thing you can do is to think about your faith and faith of others you love. Do you know that you have a personal relationship with the Lord, then verify that loved ones have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ? Share Christ with others! This is eternity at stake! Are you in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Has He said to you, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant?”
Old Testament Prophesy
Daniel 9:24 Seventy ‘sevens’[a] are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish[b] transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
I’m sorry COVID was contracted in your family and happy to hear about improvements and recovery.
